MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Authorities in Myrtle Beach are investigating after a 6-week-old baby drowned in a pond near an outlet mall Saturday evening, WBTW reported.
The Horry County coroner says the baby died from drowning in a pond near the Tanger Outlets off U.S. Route 501 in Myrtle Beach on Saturday evening.
Coroner Michelle McSpadden says King Khalil Jair Alexander was recovered from the pond, WBTW reported.
The child is from Chapel Hill.
The Horry County Police Department is investigating.
