Missing Fayetteville teen girl located, reunited with family

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – A 16-year-old Fayetteville girl reported missing on July 26 has been found and reunited with her family, Fayetteville police said Friday.

Manina Whitted was last seen on foot at her home in the 600 block of Rodie Avenue on Tuesday.

Police said they believed she could be headed to the coast to visit an unknown beach.

Fayetteville police located Whitted and reunited her with her family just a few days after she went missing.

No further information was made available by authorities.
