WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WNCN) — A Wake Forest teenager once accused of threatening fellow students faces new charges – after deputies say he assaulted his own grandmother.
Kenneth Halker, 18, of Alfalfa Lane in Wake Forest, is charged with assault on a female.
According to court papers, he grabbed his grandmother by her neck and left arm and threw her to the floor.
Halker was suspended from Panther Creek High School last year after assaulting a female in the cafeteria, court records show.
He was accused of texting another student threats, creating a hit list and saying he would fill bodies with bullets.
CBS North Carolina went to Halker’s grandmother’s house for comment on Sunday.
It’s the address listed as Halker’s address on court papers. A relative said Halker had been staying there as a guest.
He declined to say anything further about the case other than the family requests privacy right now.
Halker remains in jail on a $500 bond.
