Fayetteville teen arrested 6 months after stealing vehicle, police say

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WNCN) – A 16-year-old Fayetteville girl was arrested Aug. 5 after she stole a vehicle in February, police said.

Trinity Thompson was arrested in Winston-Salem after stealing a 2007 white Toyota Rav4 in early February.

Fayetteville police said she was thought to have taken the car to the area of Salisbury Court in Winston-Salem where a family member lives.

Thompson has been charged with larceny of a motor vehicle and possession of a motor vehicle.
