SNOW HILL, N.C. (WNCT) – Deputies arrested a woman for allegedly passing drugs to an inmate at Maury Correctional.
Victoria Laureen Stith, 46, is accused of trying to pass narcotics to 30-year-old Travis Freeman during visitation. Officers said they found about half an ounce of marijuana on Freeman.
Stith was taken into custody by Greene County deputies and charged with providing drugs to an inmate and possession of a controlled substance on prison premises. She was given a $25,000 secured bond and is currently out on bond.
Freeman was also charged with possession of controlled substance on prison premises. He’ll be served with the warrant on his court date, which is Aug. 26.
