Carolina Railhawks hope to pick up a much-needed win this weekend

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Recently the Carolina RailHawks have had a tough time picking up wins.

In fact, over the past month they’ve earned exactly zero marks in the win-column — but all that could change this Saturday.

Tuesday at RailHawks practice, starting midfielder and former NC State player, Nazmi Albadawi guaranteed a win would come, very soon.

“We’ll get a win this weekend, we’re very confident and you play the game because you never know what’s going to happen right? So sometimes the ball bounces your way, and as long as we play the right way, we believe we’ll get a string of results, and we’ll make the playoffs from there.”

You can catch the RailHawks game live, this Saturday at WakeMed Soccer Park at 7:30; that’s when they’ll take on Indy Eleven.
