CBS North Carolina designs chair as part of ‘Chair-ity’ art project, auction

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – CBS North Carolina has designed a chair to be auctioned off as part of the 3rd Annual KidsPeace Chair-ity Auction that takes place Sept. 29 in Fayetteville.

Artists, schools, scout groups and more have all designed chairs as part of the auction.

KidsPeace, founded in 1882, is a private charity dedicated to serving the behavioral and mental health needs of children, families and communities, according to the organization’s website.

The organization officers “Help, Hope, Healing and Love” for local children and teens in foster care.

The group says that the Chair-ity Auction is their primary fundraising event.
