NC pizza delivery driver pulled from vehicle, robbed

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (WNCN) – A pizza delivery driver was pulled from his vehicle and robbed Friday night in Southern Pines, according to the Aberdeen Times.

Southern Pines Police Captain Charles Campbell said the Domino’s Pizza driver attempted to deliver a pizza to a home in the 500 block of South Carlisle Street.

Campbell said no one in the home had money for the pizza so the driver went back to his vehicle.

At that point, police said a man pulled the driver from his vehicle and took money from him.

The driver then returned to the Domino’s Pizza in the Center Park Shopping Center and called police.

The 21-year-old driver was not injured, the Times reported.
