RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – IBMA’s World of Bluegrass returned to Raleigh for its fourth year on Sept. 27.
Wide Open Bluegrass, which is presented by PNC, takes place Sept. 30 – Oct. 1 and includes both ticketed main stage performances at Raleigh’s Red Hat Amphitheater as well as free stages throughout downtown.
Up to half of the net proceeds support the Bluegrass Trust Fund, a non-profit organization helping bluegrass professionals in times of need.
The festival lineup includes Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, along with Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives, Greensky Bluegrass, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, and Steep Canyon Rangers.
