Police: Tennessee man caught with child porn after Google flags account

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was arrested after Google advised authorities in Nashville he had allegedly been downloading sexual images and videos of minors.

According to a Metro police arrest affidavit, 35-year-old Jason Hall began downloading images beginning in November 2015.

Google flagged his account and notified the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

NCMEC then notified Metro Police who executed a search warrant at Hall’s home on Greenland Avenue where more than 300 images were found on Hall’s cell phone.

According to police, Hall admitted he had uploaded images and videos of minors to his Gmail account until Google locked him out of it in January.

Hall was booked into the Metro jail and charged with felony sexual exploitation of a minor.  His bond was set at $50,000.
