Raleigh police investigating after 1 person shot near Western Boulevard

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – Raleigh police are investigating after a person was shot near Western Boulevard Saturday morning.

Police responded to a shooting call in the 4000 block of Neely Street at approximately 12:30 a.m. Saturday. Upon arrival, one person was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound. They were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The shooting is still under investigation and police did not release the identity of the person shot or any description of a suspect or suspects.
