RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – N.C. State gave a sneak peak of its newly renovated Reynolds Coliseum Wednesday.
Members of the media were allowed to tour the 67-year-old facility that received a multi-million dollar face lift.
A Hall of Fame will welcome fans as they enter the “Old Barn.” The Hall includes pieces of Wolfpack athletic history like David Thompson’s shoes, the nets cut down at 1974 and 1983 National Championship games, and Olympics memorabilia.
The estimated $35 million upgrades were completed on time.
The N.C. State volleyball team will play the first game in renovated Reynolds Sept. 9. at 11 a.m. against Delaware.
The Reynolds Grand Opening Gala and Hall of Fame inductions is scheduled for Sept. 16.
