Man shot at Raleigh motel, expected to survive, police say

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – Raleigh police are investigating an early morning shooting at Raleigh Inn.

Police say the incident happened around 2:30 a.m Wednesday.

One man was taken to WakeMed after police say he was shot. He is expected to survive.

Police say the man was shot in the leg.

No arrests have been made at this point as police say they are still trying to gather information about any potential suspects.

Investigators are not releasing any information right now as to whether the shooting happened outside the hotel or inside one of the rooms.
