Wake County school bus involved in crash

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) -A Wake County school bus was involved in an accident Thursday afternoon in Raleigh.

The bus was carrying students from several schools when the crash occurred near the intersection of Millbrook and Lead Mine roads.

Medical personnel evaluated two students for non-life-threatening injuries.

Students were being held on the bus until another one could transport them. Officials at the scene said the students were transported to the Raleigh Elks Lodge further down Millbrook Road.

Multiple ambulances and emergency crews were on scene of the crash, but authorities have not released any information regarding injuries or how the crash occurred.
