CLEMMONS, N.C. (WFMY) — A Forsyth County Sheriff’s Deputy is recovering from injuries after he was hit by a vehicle Sunday, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said Deputy Sheriff J.T. Isenhour was hit at the entrance to Tanglewood Park in Clemmons Sunday around 10 a.m. It happened during the annual Tour to Tanglewood Bike Race.
According to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office, the 38-year-old deputy was transported to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center where he is recovering in the Intensive Care Unit.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
