RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – The Triangle Business Journal recognized some of the best places to work Thursday during its annual awards banquet.
Fifty companies were chosen based on an employee survey that asked about vacation policies, flexible work hours and healthy food options.
“We’ve got every kind of benefit you can think of really. It’s a family-type organization and people feel like they are part of our family,” said Bob Barker, founder of the Bob Barker Company.
Jason Christie, Triangle Business Journal president, said the event continues to grow.
“This is our 13th year doing this. It’s just a fun event. It’s one of the more fun, let loose type events that we do throughout the year,” Christie said.
Some of the companies honored include Red Hat and Fidelity Investments from Durham. Several local startups were also honored.
The Triangle Business Journal hosted the ceremony at the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley.
