Chatham County man spied on girls through bedroom window, deputies say

PITTSBORO, N.C. (WNCN) — A Chatham County man was arrested after deputies say he was spying on two girls through a bedroom window.

Darrell Kilpatrick, 57, of the 5900 block of Pleasant Hill Church Road in Siler City was arrested on Sunday and charged with misdemeanor secret peeping, according an email from Chatham County Deputy Sara Pack.

Pack said that there were 2 female victims, both under the age of 16.

“Mr. Kilpatrick is accused of spying on the victims through a bedroom window,” Pack said.

Few details were released about where and when the incident took place.

Kilpatrick was held in the Chatham County Jail under a $2,500 secured bond.

He is scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on October 12.
