ANDERSON, S.C. (WSPA) — Twelve people were hurt and five others are in critical condition after a church van and a truck collided on Interstate 85 near mile marker 11 in Anderson County, according to emergency crews.
The incident happened around 9:50 a.m. Monday.
It’s believed that the Homeland Park Baptist Church van was headed to Georgia for a day trip because there wasn’t any luggage, firefighters say.
Firefighters say all the passengers were adults.
