CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WBTV) – A man faces nearly 200 charges after at least 116 dobermans were found being improperly cared for, officials said.

The Chester County Sheriff’s Office says they received a complaint that 47-year-old Jordan Johnson was letting his dogs run across the street and into neighbors’ yards. When Animal Care and Control arrived, they say they found the dogs’ pens were overgrown and they were without food or water.

Around 40 of the dogs were small puppies.

Johnson’s home is in the 5600 block of Richburg Drive in Richburg, SC.

Deputies say all the dobermans have since been fostered out.
