RAEFORD, N.C. (WNCN) – A Hoke County registered sex offender has been arrested after he was tracked by a monitoring system to two different Raeford schools, the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office said.
According to the sheriff’s office, they received a report on Sept. 12 from Hoke County Probation/Parole regarding a registered sex offender who was being monitored.
Rakeem Deonte Dillard, 26, of Raeford, was tracked to two different Raeford schools on that date.
A sheriff’s office investigation found that Dillard had been on the property of both J.W. Turlington Alternative School and West Hoke Middle School.
Dillard has been charged with two counts of sex offender on child premises.
He is being held at the Hoke County Detention Center under a $30,000 secured bond.
