Man sought after Raleigh store robbed at gunpoint, police say

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – Authorities are looking for a man involved in an armed robbery last month in Raleigh, police say.

The incident happened around 5:15 p.m. on Aug. 20 at the Family Dollar store at 2223 New Hope Church Road, Raleigh Police said.

Police say the suspect entered the store, pulled out a gun and began to rob the store of money before fleeing on foot.

The Raleigh Police Department is working to identify, locate and arrest the person seen in the surveillance photo with the help of the public.
