RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Rescue crews had to cut the entire top off an Acura to free a victim after a two car crash in Raleigh on Saturday afternoon.
The wreck happened just after 2:30 p.m. at Spring Forest Road and Departure Drive and involved two vehicles, officials said.
One person was taken to a nearby hospital after being trapped in an Acura TL that appeared to hit a utility pole.
Another driver was injured when their blue SUV went off the road and hit a tree, according to Raleigh Police.
Both drivers suffered non-life threatening injuries. There was no word on what caused the crash.
