SPRING HILL, Tenn. (WKRN) – A now-former Spring Hill police officer has been charged with sex-related offenses while on duty.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) said Monday their investigation into Christopher Odom began on Aug. 1.

Authorities say agents learned Odom pulled over a car driven by an adult female in June and initiated sexual contact with her during the traffic stop.

According to a press release, the TBI says it happened again with another adult female in July.

On Monday, 26-year-old Odom was charged indicted by a grand jury on charges of rape, sexual battery, and two counts of official misconduct.

He was arrested and booked into the Maury County jail on $75,000 bond. He is no longer employed by the police department.
