RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — CBS North Carolina was honored to host a group of international journalists on Monday. They were part of the International Leadership Visitor Program.
The journalists are invited to the United States as part of an outreach program by the State Department. Participants came from Morocco, Liberia, Thailand, Greece, Sri Lanka, and Cabo Verde.
Among the topics discussed was the role of investigative journalism in newsrooms across the country and around the world and the universal power of great storytelling.
Along with a stop at CBS North Carolina, the group also visited the International Civil Rights Center and Museum in Greensboro.
