2 Goldsboro men stab, kick victim outside convenience store

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCN) – Two Goldsboro men were arrested after police said they stabbed and kicked a man outside a convenience store Monday.

Goldsboro police responded to 1007 E. Elm St. after a report of someone being stabbed.

The victim said he was standing at D&C Mart when he was approached by Levi and Jake Cunningham.

Police said the Cunninghams stabbed the victim twice and then hit and kicked him.

The suspects fled the scene but were later arrested on Linwood Avenue.

Levi and Jake Cunningham were each charged with attempted murder.

They are being held under $500,000 bond each, police said.

The condition of the victim was not released.
