Durham home invasion suspect surrenders; 2 on the run

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – Durham police have arrested one of three suspects in connection with a break-in on Kingsmount Court Sept. 30.

Amari Carver, 18, of Durham surrendered to police Monday night. He is being held under $150,000.

Two other suspects, Gregory Logan Jr., 20, of Durham and Jayquantay Lamont Allen, 19, of Durham are not in custody, police said.

All three have been charged with breaking and entering, attempted larceny after breaking and entering, kidnapping, conspiracy and damage to property.

According to police, officers responded to a break-in in progress call just after noon Friday. Three men are said to have broken into the home before fleeing in a silver Toyota Corolla.

Police said one person was at home but could not comment on whether the person was injured or not.

The suspect were last seen driving a Corolla with Ohio tag GMV-9816.
