3 arrested, charged with making meth out of the trunk of a vehicle in Moore County

ROBBINS, N.C. (WNCN) – Three people have been arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine in their vehicle in Moore County, Sheriff Neil Godfrey said.

The Moore County Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Robbins Police Department and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation executed a search warrant on a vehicle parked in front of a business in Robbins on Tuesday, authorities said. While searching the vehicle, a “shake and bake” meth lab and precursors used to manufacture and produce meth were found in the trunk of the vehicle.

Jeremy Allen Ross, 32, of Seagroves, Jamison Carl Kearns, 43, and Angel Denise Auman, 42, of Asheboro, were all arrested and charged in connection with the case.

Ross was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine precursors, felony maintaining a vehicle to keep a controlled substance, felony possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ross is being held in the Moore County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond.

Kearns was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine precursors, felony maintaining a vehicle to keep a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kearns is being held in the Moore County Detention Center under a $125,000 secured bond.

Auman was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine precursors, felony maintaining a vehicle to keep a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Auman is being held in the Moore County Detention Center under a $125,000 secured bond.

Ross, Kearns and Auman all have court dates set for Oct. 11 in Moore County District Court.
