Aerial video shows Matthew’s aftermath in Myrtle Beach area

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Aerial video from WSPA showed the extensive damage Hurricane Matthew left behind in the Myrtle Beach area.

On Sunday, WSPA’s helicopter flew over the Grand Strand to show heavily damaged homes, partially collapsed piers, and beach erosion.

The video also shows what the Waccamaw River looked like Sunday afternoon in the wake of Hurricane Matthew.
