FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Fayetteville officials say they are looking for a man who vanished near flood waters during Hurricane Matthew and is still listed as missing.
Boris Sebastian Abbey, 43, was last seen on Saturday during the hurricane in the area of Morganton and Westlake roads, Fayetteville police said in an email Monday night.
Abbey was “near fast moving flood waters,” police said.
Abbey, who was first reported missing on Sunday, is described by police as being white, 6-feet 2-inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds with black hair and hazel eyes.
