FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Fayetteville officials said a man that they considered “critically missing” following Hurricane Matthew has been located and is OK.
Boris Sebastian Abbey, 43, was last seen on Saturday during the hurricane in the area of Morganton and Westlake roads, Fayetteville police said in an email Monday night.
Abbey was “near fast-moving flood waters,” police said.
Abbey was first reported missing on Sunday.
Police sent out a tweet at 8 a.m. Tuesday announcing that Abbey had been found and “he is safe.”
