2 victims shot during Fayetteville home invasion, police say

FAYETEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – Two people were shot during the course of a Tuesday home invasion on Glen Allen Street in Fayetteville, police said.

An investigation showed a teenager was working in the garage of a home in the 300 block of Glen Allen Street when two armed men entered the garage.

The suspects attacked the teen and held him at gunpoint while forcing him into the home.

Once inside the home, the suspects shot a person in the hip inside the residence.

The suspects then encountered a third person in the home who they shot in the shoulder.

Police said a fourth person in the home was able to escape uninjured.

Two of the victims suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

The first suspect is described as having a heavy-set build, wearing all black, with a black bandana around his face, about 5 feet 6 inches tall.

The second suspect is described as having a skinny build, standing about 5 feet 8 inches, wearing all black, and a hat.
