GRAHAM, N.C. (WFMY) — One man in Alamance County was arrested Thursday after over $3 million in cocaine was seized outside Graham.
The 83 kilograms of cocaine has an estimated value of $3.2 million according to a release from the SBI. Agents from the State Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. Homeland Security Investigations led the search at a home outside city limits where the drugs were seized.
The SBI also found $837,460 in cash. The man arrested at the scene was taken to Alamance County Jail and carries a $1 million bond.
The Alamance County Sheriff’s Office also assisted.
This is the third time in recent months that authorities have seized or found a large amount of drugs in the Triad area of North Carolina.
