SALISBURY, N.C. (WBTV) – A Salisbury woman faces a long list of charges after being stopped at a traffic stop on Julian Road on Monday.
According to the Rowan Sheriff’s Office, Jamie Dawn Agee, 31, is charged with drug trafficking, drug possession, child abuse, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $100,000.
Deputies say that Agee, from Granite Quarry, was arrested on outstanding warrants, but while the car she was riding in was being searched, they also located 75 Oxycodone tablets in a tube inside of her body.
Deputies also found 23 tablets and $587 in cash in the pants pocket of her 10-year-old daughter.
Agee was convicted of misdemeanor larceny in January and was on supervised probation for one year.
The child is in custody of the Department of Social Services.
