FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – An 18-year-old faces an attempted first-degree murder charge in connection with an Oct. 16 shooting on Tiffany Court in Fayetteville, police said.
Noah Malik Watkins, of Fayetteville was identified by police as being involved in the shooting and attempted robbery of Anthony Willis.
Watkins has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, three counts attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, three counts discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle and conspiracy to commit robbery.
Watkins is being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $135,000 secured bond.
Police are asking for help in identifying the person with Watkins during the incident.
