Goldsboro man accused of stealing Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Air Jordans

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCN) — A Goldsboro man has been arrested after police said he stole an Xbox One, PlayStation 4, video games and Air Jordan sneakers from a home, the Goldsboro Police Department said.

Police responded to a breaking and entering call at approximately 3 p.m. at 807 Luther Drive on Oct. 7. The resident told arriving officers that someone broke into her home and stole an Xbox One, PlayStation 4, a pair of Air Jordan sneakers and several video games while she was away.

Detectives determined that Marsharee Walter Troy, 23, of 817 Luther Drive, was in possession of the Xbox One and had attempted to sell or trade it.

Officers were able to get the Xbox One before the trade could be completed on Oct. 20. Troy was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property and attempted obtaining property by false pretenses.

Troy was taken to the Wayne County Magistrate’s Office and given a $5,000 secured bond.
