CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WNCN) — The Fifth Grade Art Club at Morris Grove Elementary School in Chapel Hill has once again created hand-painted artificial pumpkins for a charity fundraiser.

The pumpkins will be auctioned to adults and the proceeds split between the United Way, the Fifth Grade Sound to Sea Scholarship Fund and the art club itself.

More than 30 pumpkins are on display in the school’s lobby, in front of the office, according to art teacher Becky Springer.

Bidding ends Friday at noon.
