Fayetteville thieves steal ‘large amounts of cigarettes’

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – Fayetteville police are asking for help identifying suspects connected to break-ins at gas stations and tobacco marts.

The suspects are said to be responsible for at least six break-ins dating back to September.

Police said the suspects are targeting tobacco stores and gas stations to “obtain large amounts of cigarettes.”

One suspect was described by police as being average height, thin, bald with pale skin.

A description for a second suspect wasn’t available.

They could be using a gray/silver Honda Accord stolen from Hope Mills.
