Mother and son injured in Rocky Mount shooting

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (WNCN) – A mother and her son were injured in a shooting on Primrose Place in Rocky Mount Monday morning.

Tonya Bullock, 43, and her son Emmanuel Bullock, 21, were injured in the shooting incident in the 4600 block of Primrose Place, Rocky Mount police said.

The Bullocks were transported to a Greenville hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not released.


A 48-year-old suspect was taken into custudy but not charges have been filed yet.

Rocky Mount police said the shooting possibly stemmed from a domestic dispute.
