ROLESVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Saturday will mark the end of early voting in North Carolina; anyone not in line by 1 p.m. will have to wait for Election Day on Tuesday.
Lines were still out the door late Friday evening at the early voting site in Rolesville. People said they waited in line for more than an hour for their chance to cast a ballot.
John Schmahl said it was worth the wait. Plus, he’s got a honey-do list to work through tomorrow, so voting had to get done today.
“I want to make sure I can get my voice heard and make my community obligations,” he said.
