WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) — Thousands showed up to hear Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump speak at the Air Wilmington Hangar Saturday afternoon.
Among many issues Trump addressed at the rally, some included immigration, eliminating Obamacare, Hillary Clinton’s emails, and many more.

Trump also addressed the issue of bringing jobs to America. He said that North Carolina has lost almost half of it’s manufacturing jobs since NAFTA, a deal signed by Bill Clinton and supported by Hillary Clinton.
“A Trump administration will stop the jobs from leaving America, and it will stop the jobs from leaving North Carolina,” said Trump.
Trump then went on to say that if a company wants to “fire its workers, leave North Carolina, move to another county and then ship their products back into the United States, we will tax them 35 percent.”
He claimed that the United States is living through the greatest jobs theft in the history of the world.
Trump left Wilmington with a promise to his supporters.
“When we win on November 8, we are going to Washington and we will drain the swamp,” Trump said as his supporters joined in with him.
