KINSTON, N.C. (WNCT) – Two voting machines in Lenoir County have been tampered with, Kinston Police said.
One machine was damaged at the Carver Courts precinct, while the other was damaged at the Holloway Recreation Center precinct.

Someone tampered with the printer box and one of the locks was broken so the printer had to be replaced, police said.
The Kinston Free Press reported the damage to both machines happened during break-ins to the two polling places Monday night.
Kinston police said they have no suspects at this time, and the damage to the machines was valued at $500.
