Group brings random acts of kindness to Raleigh polling site

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – Random acts of kindness were found at a Raleigh polling place on Election Day.

Members of the group “Cirque du Vol” were outside the Pullen Park voting location handing candy, flowers, and even had a puppy on hand for voters.

Organizer Heather Leah said regardless of affiliation, she hopes everyone can agree on being kind to one another.

“One girl started actually crying she was so moved. Many people have found it to be meaningful and hopeful in an election that has been filled with turmoil and fear,” Leah said.

The group was out for hours and even received random acts of kindness in return from strangers – like donated refills of candy.
