Woman shot in Fayetteville dies; homicide investigation underway

UPDATE: Car sought in shooting that killed woman outside Fayetteville bar

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — A woman shot Tuesday night at a Fayetteville bar has died, police said.

Nika Albana, 40, of Boston died at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center after being shot outside Jumpers Nite Life in the 500 block of South Reilly Road, according to Fayetteville police.

She and a man were just outside the establishment when someone fired “numerous” shots, police said.

Fayetteville homicide detectives are investigating.

Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact De, L. Donegain at (910) 489-3925 or Crimestoppers at (910) 483-TIPS (8477).
