Amber Alert issued for southern Va. girl

Charlotte Court House, Va. (WJHL) – Virginia State Police have issued an Amber Alert for an abducted child in Charlotte County, Virginia.

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Department is looking for Annabelle Doretha Hope Richardson. She’s described as a white, 4-year-old girl who is 3 feet tall and weighs 22 pounds. She has green eyes and short, blond hair, authorities say. She has a broken front tooth, authorities say.

Investigators believe she was abducted by Dylan James Richardson, her non-custodial father. He’s described as a 24-year-old white man who is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair.

State police believe Annabelle is in extreme danger.

She and Richardson are believed to be traveling in a 1995 Burgandy Chevy van with license plate VMG-2332 and headed toward New Jersey.

She was last seen Nov. 9, according to state police.
