FBI hunting Va. robber known as the ‘Soul Patch Bandit’

TUCKAHOE, Va. (WRIC) — Police in Henrico County are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Monday afternoon at the Wells Fargo located at 1390 Gaskins Road, just outside of Richmond, Virginia.

Police sources tell WRIC the suspect is believed to be responsible for five robberies in the Central Virginia area. The FBI refers to him as the ‘Soul Patch Bandit.’

The Richmond Division of the FBI has announced a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the robber.

The suspect is described as approximately 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches tall, of average to thin build, wearing black rimmed prescription glasses. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
