Teen detained in Raleigh Bojangles’ shooting, police say

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A 63-year-old man was seriously hurt in a shooting at a Raleigh Bojangles’ on Wednesday night.

The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. at the Bojangles’ in the 3300 block of South Wilmington Street, Raleigh Police said.

The shooting victim was transported to WakeMed for treatment of a gunshot wound to the chest, police said.

An 18-year-old was detained in connection with the shooting.

No charges have been filed and the shooting remains under investigation.
