HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. (WNCN) – A 21-year-old wanted in connection with a November 15 armed robbery and shooting is to be considered “armed and dangerous,” Hillsborough police said.
Frank Devar DeGraffenreid Jr., 21, is wanted in connection with the incident in the Fairview community.
Police said DeGraffenreid is known to frequent Chapel Hill, Durham and Hillsborough.
He is considered armed and dangerous, Hillsborough police said.
Takeem Haywood-Norris Turrentine, 21, was arrested Wednesday in relation to the armed robbery.
Hillsborough police said a person was giving a ride to several people from one side of the town to the other when the suspects robbed him.
The victim was shot during the course of the robbery, police said.
Turrentine was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and armed robbery. He also in violation of his parole, police said.
He was being held in Orange County Jail under a $75,000 bond.
Warrants for DeGraffenreid include charges of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, armed robbery, possession of a firearm by a felon, and discharging a firearm in town limits.
