FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – The Fayetteville Police are still asking for the public’s help in solving an 11-year-old murder case.
Creg Johnson was shot to death Nov. 20, 2005 at a barbershop on Yadkin Road.
Johnson was also a barber at The Line Up Barber Shop on Yadkin Road. Police said he was last seen cutting someone’s hair around 9 p.m. the day he was killed. The next morning someone found him dead inside the business.
Investigators said he’d been shot multiple times.
Police said they’ve made little progress in the investigation over the last 11 years.
A $10,000 reward is being offered in the case.
Investigators said no tip is too small.
Police ask that anyone who was with, or spoke Creg Johnson in the two weeks leading up to his death to call the Fayetteville Police or Crimestoppers.
