2 structures destroyed after 3 propane tanks explode in NC town

COVE CITY, N.C. (WNCT) – Several crews were on the scene of a large fire in Cove City in Craven County Sunday night.

According to Craven County Communications, the fire happened just before 8 p.m. at 150 Frank Alice Drive.

According to authorities, three liquefied petroleum gas tanks exploded, causing a large fire.

Two structures have been destroyed and one more was damaged.

No injuries have been reported.
