Man shot in leg in Raleigh; refuses to talk with detectives, police say

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A man was shot in Raleigh on Sunday night, but he is not talking with detectives about the incident, authorities say.

The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Burgundy Street, Raleigh Police said.

The victim was shot in the leg and was then rushed to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

The victim is not cooperating with detectives, police said.

There was no information about a suspect and police are still investigating.
